Ammon News - The Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq issued instructions according to which Jordanians can enter the region without the need to obtain a prior visa.
The Ministry also allowed citizens of 52 countries in addition to Jordan to enter its territories without a prior visa, and thus those coming from those countries will be able to obtain a visa the moment they enter the territory of the region, the Ministry stated.
The Ministry required travelers arriving through airports or land crossings that the validity of their passport exceed 6 months from the date of entry into the region.
It is noteworthy that the 52 countries are: Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, Iran, the USA, the UK, China, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Czech Republic , Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Albania, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, the Vatican, and Liechtenstein.
