Ammon News - Irada Party called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to hold those responsible for hostile acts and crimes of genocide against the armless Palestinian people, accountable for such crimes, the party said in a statement.

Irada’s Secretary-General, Nidal Al-Batayneh, said that legal and practical measures in parallel with solidarity protests should be taken, as well as, referring the file of these crimes by the Palestinian National Authority to the Public Prosecutor of the ICC in its capacity as part of the Statute of the global justice body, in addition to its authority to prosecute those accused of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes on the territory of states party to the Rome Statute, where the Zionist entity is committing these crimes, led by the criminal Netanyahu and his group.

The party, in the statement, stressed the Jordanian government should call on the court’s prosecutor to take urgent action in line with His Majesty King Abdullah II’s message, when he said: “The massacre at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza is a heinous war crime that cannot be tolerated,” as well as His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II when he asked: “Where is the self-defense in targeting children, civilians, and medical personnel? This is a war crime and unspeakable horror.”

Al-Batayneh, in the statement, described U.S. President Joe Biden as “the main supporter of the entity” when he visits what they call Tel Aviv in a great sigh of solidarity with the occupation force, and we in Irada Party call “Palestine”.

“I wanted to come to Israel so that the people there and in the entire world know that we stand with Israel,” Biden said, adding that, “We want to make sure that Israel has what it needs to respond.

The party described Biden’s statements as “shameful” since it came from a head of a state that claims to stand with peace and human rights.

The statement strongly condemned the U.S. veto in the UN Security Council against a resolution calling for a humanitarian truce to allow humanitarian aid to enter the besieged Gaza enclave.

Al-Batayneh added that the US administration should act in a smarter way because its practices create enemies from the free world for itself and its people alike.

Al-Batayneh said the United States has become, in our point of view, a major part of the problem which means that it cannot and will not be accepted as a key part of the solution and negotiation, calling on the US citizens of being aware that their tax money is directed to killing children in Palestine.

The secretary-general of Irada added that the party realizes from a historical point of view that such claims will lead to nowhere, but for history record such double standard should be known by future generations in a freed Palestine with God’s help.

Al-Batayneh reiterated HRH Crown Prince Al-Hussein words when he said, “The Western world can no longer claim morality if it continues to follow these double standards.”

Al-Batayneh added that the party is fully prepared to cooperate with all stakeholders in the free world to archive the crime and file a lawsuit according to legitimate methods.

“Such acts are war crimes in accordance with Article 6 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court,” Al-Batayneh stressed.

“Neither the Middle East region nor the world will enjoy security nor peace unless the Palestinian people gain their legitimate rights on their soil,” the statement concluded.
