Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell are holding extensive talks in Madrid ahead of a meeting hosted by Spain on "implementing the two-state solution."

Safadi and members of the Arab-Islamic ministerial committee tasked with international action to stop the war on Gaza are participating, along with a number of European ministers and officials, in the meeting.

The discussions will address developments in the region, efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the dangerous escalation in the West Bank.

The talks also address ways to develop bilateral relations between the Kingdom and the European Union, and the joint keenness to strengthen them in various fields.
