Gov't resigns Sunday, Jaafar Hassan is the strongest candidate to succeed Khasawneh

Ammon News - Dr. Bisher Khasawneh's government will submit its resignation to His Majesty the King on Sunday, according to Ammon's sources.

The Director of His Majesty's Office, Jaafar Hassan, is the closest candidate to succeed Khasawneh in the next government, the sources said.

Jaafar Hassan is a politician and former Jordanian minister born in 1968. He worked in several positions, including Minister of Planning and International Cooperation between 2009 and 2013, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Economic Affairs in 2018, and is currently the Director of His Majesty's Office.
