Justice minister, Norwegian counterpart talk legal cooperation

Ammon News - Minister of Justice, Ahmed Ziadat , on Monday discussed with his Norwegian counterpart, Emilie Enger, ways to enhance joint cooperation in the legal fields, as well as Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC)'s projects to help refugees in Jordan and the ministry's role in supervising their operations.

During the meeting, Ziadat stressed the "deep-rooted" bilateral relations aimed at strengthening joint work in the legal fields, highlighting importance of enhancing means of mutual "qualitative" cooperation and exchanging expertise to serve common interests.

Ziadat also valued Norway's role in supporting projects to respond to the Syrian crisis.

Enger, for her part, said Jordanian-Norwegian cooperation is "constructive," aims to consolidate joint legal cooperation, and would lead to exchanging legal expertise, valuing Jordan's role in the field of refugee assistance.
