Deputy army chief, U.S. Army Central's commander talk cooperation

Ammon News - Deputy Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Brig. Gen. Abdullah Shdeifat on Monday received U.S. Army Central's commander, Lt. Gen. Patrick Frank, and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation and coordination in various military, operational, training and logistical fields, which would serves interests of the two countries' armed forces, according to Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army statement.
In presence of a number of JAF senior officers and US Defense Attache in Amman, the two officials were briefed on areas of bilateral military cooperation for the next phase, to keep pace with nature of the region's developments at various levels.
These meetings come within framework of JAF's efforts to raise its personnel combat efficiency by cooperation and coordination with friendly and brotherly forces, and increase joint exercises, the JAF said.
Talks also aim to reach the JAF's "highest" readiness levels and combat preparedness, to achieve the desired goals, aimed to maintain the Kingdom's security and stability contribute to achieving international peace and security, the statement noted.
