Qaisi lauds success of 2023 Ramadan tourist activities

Ammon News - Minister of Tourism, Makram Qaisi, lauded efforts of the work team entrusted to organize 2023 Ramadan events and activities across the Kingdom.

Addressing the team Wednesday, which comprises participants from several ministries, Qaisi said the activities saw a "large" turnout and presence from citizens at the designated sites in all governorates, and created an atmosphere of joy and happiness for audience.

The events and activities, which ran through Eid Al-Fitr days, contributed to enhancing concept of solidarity and social communication, highlighting Jordan's cultural product, and unleashing young talents, he said, commending their "high" level of organization.

Qaisi also praised the "fruitful" cooperation and "diligent" follow-up by event organizers, primarily ministries of youth, government communication, tourism, interior, culture, and Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), valuing Jordanian security departments' efforts in organizing the activities.

Meanwhile, Hisham Abadi, head of the work team, referred to the tourism minister's "close" follow-up and his constant interest to ensure success of Ramadan activities, announcing multiple educational and cultural events and programs will be launched in Jordan's tourist sites.
