Ammon News - President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, handed the commander of the Jordanian international search and rescue team, Lieutenant Colonel Anas Al-Abbadi, over the high-ranking Medal of the Supreme Sacrifice of Special Class.

The handing over of the medal came during the presentation ceremony of State Medal and Order of Supreme Sacrifice at Bestepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center in Ankara.

This medal was handed over in appreciation of efforts of the Jordanian international search and rescue team of the Public Security and Civil Defense Departments, and its important role in providing assistance and relief to survivors of the earthquake that struck southern Turkey in February.
