Ammon News - Unstable weather conditions are forecast on Thursday, with a drop in temperatures and intermittent rainfall in the eastern, northern, and central regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
The rainfall is expected to be heavy at times, accompanied by thunder in the northern and eastern parts of the country, with southeasterly winds.
The weather department warned the public of flooding in low-lying areas; and urged drivers to exercise caution due to slippery road conditions and fog.
On Friday and Saturday, a wet and cold air mass accompanying a depression centered over Cyprus is expected to bring cold, cloudy conditions, with heavy rainfall and westerly brisk winds.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 19 degrees Celsius and a low of 8C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 28C, sliding to 18C at night.
