JMD expects normal summer weather until Wednesday

Ammon News - A slight drop in temperatures is expected with normal summer weather in many regions, while it will be hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Monday and Tuesday.

On Wednesday, similar weather conditions will persist despite a slight rise in mercury levels, the JMD added.

In Amman and other highlands, north and south, daytime mercury will range between 31 and 27 degrees Celsius. In the late afternoon and evening hours, cooler weather is forecast as temperatures slide to around 20 or even 15C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 41C and a low of 28C.
