Ammon News - Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to be slightly higher than annual average, with relatively hot weather prevailing in the high areas, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Normal summer weather will make a comeback on Friday as mercury levels slide to annual average, with clouds appearing at high and medium altitudes in the southern and eastern regions.
Similar weather will persist on Saturday, with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 33 and 31 degrees Celsius. In the late afternoon and evening hours, cooler weather is forecast as mercury levels slide to around 20C. In the port city of Aqaba, daytime temperatures will stand at 40C, while lows will drop to 28C at night.
