During a workshop held by Pharmacists Syndicate in cooperation with Jordan customs, the director of Jordan Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Nezar Mhaidat said that there are increased attempts in smuggling counterfeit medicine which affect the health of patients. He added that Jordan customs, Jordan food and drug administration and Pharmacists Syndicate make their efforts to control the entry of drugs to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and combat its smuggling, as well as organize this process within the legal frameworks.

Ammon News - Jordan Food and Drug Administration on Thursday said that Jordan is free from counterfeit medicine.

During a workshop held by Pharmacists Syndicate in cooperation with Jordan customs, the director of Jordan Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Nezar Mhaidat said that there are increased attempts in smuggling counterfeit medicine which affect the health of patients.

He added that Jordan customs, Jordan food and drug administration and Pharmacists Syndicate make their efforts to control the entry of drugs to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and combat its smuggling, as well as organize this process within the legal frameworks.
