Clouds will appear at low altitude in the northern and central regions, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds. Similar weather will persist on Friday and Saturday despite a slight drop in mercury levels. The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 21C or even 18C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 40C and a low of 29C.
