JMD expects normal summer weather for three days

Ammon News - Temperatures are expected to dip few degrees on Monday, becoming around seasonal average and bringing normal summer conditions in the highlands and the plains, while it will be hot in the Badia areas, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Clouds at high and medium altitudes will also appear in the southern and eastern parts of the country, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said.

Tuesday and Wednesday are forecast to bring in similar weather conditions, with northwesterly moderate winds, picking up at times, the JMD added.

The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 33 and 30 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 20C or even 17C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 41C and a low of 28C.
