Cooler weather is forecast at night as temperatures slide to around 22 degrees in the Capital, the JMD added, noting that winds will be northwesterly moderate changing to northeasterly at times. The Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and the port city of Aqaba are set to swelter in scorching weather, with temperatures surpassing the 40C threshold, the forecasters said, warning of direct exposure to sunlight in the afternoon. Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will persist, with northwesterly moderate winds, picking up at times, the JMD predicted.
