Ammon News - Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya received Monday the Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities Bassam Mawlawi and an accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed bilateral relations and prospects of enhancing them, especially in security expertise and leveraging the Kingdom's anti-drug smuggling experience, as well as exchanging technical and operational knowledge in this regard.

For his part, Mawlawi highlighted the stability of the security situation in Lebanon, noting that his country's government is working on implementing a plan to revitalize all sectors to overcome the economic problems that Lebanon is currently facing. He stressed that this plan can only be achieved through the cooperation and support of the brotherly Arab countries, including Jordan.
