On a visit to the Jerash heritage site, Najjar talked about the importance of the Jerash culture and art festivals as a cultural window for Jordan to the rest of the world. She said the festival is an opportunity to promote the Jerash historical site, adding that the Ministry will work through global platforms to support the cultural industries by advertising local products. Mazen Kawar, Executive Director of Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, said that the festival's activities will start on July 28 and run until August 8 at the Jerash heritage site.
