Ammon News - Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hanifat discussed on Tuesday with Director-General of Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development (AOAD), Ibrahim Al Dukhairy, ways and means of enhancing joint cooperation in water harvesting projects and developing water programs.

He said that the ministry looks to continue cooperation and forge a partnership with the AOAD "within the framework of projects that serve the agriculture sector through agreements on water harvesting programs and water saving technologies.
Al Dukhairy said the AOAD has a number of joint projects with the ministry and other institutions in the Kingdom to support the development of water investment through modern technologies, water harvesting projects, capacity building and prioritizing the sector.
He pointed out that other projects that serve the sector were discussed as well as the need for field visits to a number of sites in the Kingdom to learn first-hand about the projects underway and the prospect of expanding them.
