Adaileh : Gov't measures to be implemented aim to protect citizens health

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, confirmed that the measures that the government will implement during the coming period aim to protect the health of citizens, "and to preserve our health and economic gains before embarking on upcoming national and constitutional events represented by the start of the school year and the parliamentary elections."
Adaileh told the daily press brief at the Prime Ministry that the meeting of the work, production and supply chains committee was convened to determine plans to deal with the disturbing developments in the local epidemic situation in the Kingdom and the increase in the number of local infections and their distribution in several governorates.
He also referred to the Prime Minister’s circular to all ministries, and public institutions and departments to oblige all public sector employees to use the "Aman" application, with the aim of providing them and their families with protection, and alerting them in the event of coming into contact with someone infected with the virus.
In this regard, Adaileh called on private sector institutions and civil society to initiate the implementation of these measures to protect the health of their employees and their visitors, stressing that the application was developed by Jordanian volunteers, and the government adopted it in order to protect the health of citizens and its has no goal or purpose but to maintain their safety.
The minister also pointed out that His Majesty King Abdullah II today chaired a National Policies Council (NPC) meeting , during which the government’s plans and security institutions were reviewed to deal with developments in the epidemic situation of the coronavirus in the Kingdom.
