3 imported Covid-19 cases recorded in Jordan on Wednesday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Three COVID-19 cases, all of which had come from abroad, were recorded in the country Wednesday, pushing the caseload since the beginning of the outbreak to 1,201, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).
A release issued by the Prime Ministry breaks down the newly registered cases as follows: 2 cases for Jordanians, one had come from Qatar and the other from Turkey, who have been staying in isolation hotels, and a case for a Jordanian truck driver who tested positive for COVID-19 at the Al-Omari border crossing with Saudi Arabia.
On a higher note, 3 patients recovered today as no less than 5,663 tests were conducted, taking the total number of tests to 483,111.
The pandemic's threat still exists, the Ministry warned, despite the low number of infections, urging the people to adhere to safety measures and social distancing. It highlighted the importance of the "Aman" application that would alert contacts of possible infected persons.
