24 new Covid-19 cases recorded on Wednesday in Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health announced 24 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Wednesday, (1 local), bringing the total caseload since the start of the pandemic to 1071.
On the new infections, 19 cases belong to truck drivers arriving to the Al Omari Border Crossing, including 13 Jordanians, 6 of other nationalities who were dealt with according to the set protocol, according to the media statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health.
The other 4 cases belong to Jordanians coming from abroad, who are currently staying in quarantine hotels (1 from Saudi Arabia, 1 from Kuwait, 1 from Palestine and 1 from the Emirates), it added
Moreover, the domestic case was recorded in the capital governorate,
currently being investigated, the statement announced.
10 patients have also recovered: 9 cases in Prince Hamza Hospital, and 1 in Queen Alia Hospital, added the joint statement.
According to the government statement, 7,518 laboratory tests were carried out today, bringing the total number conducted since the start of the pandemic to 348,679.
