The order is part of the government’s efforts to sustain the private sector and shield the national economy against the fallout of the COVID-19 crisis. The first program, under the order, is a protection scheme targeting private sector entities in the tourism and transport sectors. Also, the order introduces two other economic empowerment programs pertaining to the payment and co-sharing of social security contributions.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Monday issued Defense Order No. 14 introducing a number of protection and economic empowerment programs.
