Director of the hospital, Dr. Sadiq Atoum, said Monday that the new additions are part of government measures to fight the spread of the virus, noting that 10 more isolation rooms might be set up. Since the beginning of the crisis, 20 people in the governorate had been placed under quarantine after being suspected of infection, Atoum stated. He pointed out that a crisis committee was formed to deal with the pandemic, adding that epidemiological investigation teams are collecting random samples from citizens in the governorate.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jerash Government Hospital has added five new isolation rooms for COVID-19 patients or people suspected of infection with the disease.

Director of the hospital, Dr. Sadiq Atoum, said Monday that the new additions are part of government measures to fight the spread of the virus, noting that 10 more isolation rooms might be set up.

Since the beginning of the crisis, 20 people in the governorate had been placed under quarantine after being suspected of infection, Atoum stated.
