Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Partly cloudy and pleasant weather is expected Thursday and Friday in most parts of the Kingdom with a weak chance for scattered showers in the eastern regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief .
Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk , stirring dust mainly in the eastern desert areas.
Mercury levels will rise again few degrees on Saturday, but moderate conditions will remain in most areas, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with clouds at medium altitudes and northwesterly light winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in the capital and the northern cities will reach 20 degrees Celsius, dropping down at night to 10 and 11 degrees. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 31 degrees and lows sliding to 18, the JMD noted.
