Army receives military vehicles from France

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Armed Forces– Arab Army (JAF) have received on Thursday 20 military four-wheel drive vehicles presented by France.
During a ceremony held on the occasion, Brigadier Gen. Abdullah Hunaiti, Director of JAF's Planning and Organization, said the delivery of the military equipment is an indication of the depth of the Jordanian-French relations, adding the "step will enhance joint military ties."
Hunaiti thanked the French government for its continuous support to Jordan in all fields, especially in the military domains.
For his part, Commander of the French troops based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Gen. Didier Maltier said: "The French government is committed to supporting Jordan to deal with the various security challenges in the region," highlighting the Kingdom's role in addressing the region's crises, challenges and threats.
The French official expressed his country's readiness to support efforts His Majesty King Abdullah II is making to maintain the Kingdom's security and stability.
The equipment grant comes as a result of the deep ties between the armed forces in the two friendly countries and the cooperation and joint efforts in all fields, especially in the military domains.
Senior officers from the two countries armed forces and the French Deputy Military Attaché in Amman attended the ceremony.
