Hot days lie ahead, as temperatures set to rise

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A rise in mercury levels is expected on Tuesday reaching their upper twenties, but moderate conditions will remain across the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, the northern and southern cities will hover around 28 degrees Celsius dropping down to 19,18 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 38 degrees and lows standing at 27, the JMD said.
A further rise in mercury levels is expected on Wednesday creating relatively hot conditions in Amman, the Badia regions and the eastern plains, while it will be hot in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with northeasterly to northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Temperatures will continue to rise on Thursday becoming 4-5 degrees above their annual average and bringing hot weather in across many parts of the country, the JMD said.
