Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez listened to views of the Amman Chamber of Industry on the draft law amending the Income Tax Law during a meeting with the president and members of Amman Chamber of Industry.

Al Fayez said that the Senate is keen to listen to views through a series of meetings with the professional, economic, commercial, and agricultural sectors, civil society and political parties on the various provisions of the law and its amendments.

He emphasized the importance of adopting the principle of collective participation of the Jordanian society within a national dialogue on the law, aimed at coming up with a modern law that suits the current stage and promotes the principle of transparency and equality.

President of the ACI Ziad Al-Homsi presented comments and proposals of the chamber on the draft law amending the Income Tax Law No. 34 of 2014, which includes a comparison between the articles of the original law and the amended law.

Members of the ACI also proposed recommendations that would enhance and stimulate the economic environment in Jordan.
