Relatively hot conditions continue, as temperatures set to rise above average

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively hot conditions are expected to prevail Saturday across many pars of the county, as mercury levels set to rise 3-4 degrees above their annual average, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said in its daily brief.
Temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 32 degrees Celsius dropping down to 23 and 20 respectively, while mercury levels in the southern cities will range between a high of 30 degrees and a low of 17. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 degrees and a lows standing at 29, the JMD said. Similar conditions will continue on Sunday, but with a chance for scattered and isolated showers across the country. Winds will be southwesterly moderate change to northwesterly moderate to brisk at times.
Mercury levels are forecast to few degrees on Monday with patches of fogs at medium and high altitudes. Rain is also expected across the Kingdom that might be accompanied with thunder at times. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, the JMD added.
