The baseline Nash-Shab system is a manportable two-piece modular unit that consists of a sighting and firing unit and the 6G40 launcher unit, which is re-usable and has quoted life of ±200 firings. The sighting unit can be fitted with optical day and night sights. Early variants appeared to have an encapsulated sight unit permanently attached to the sighting and firing unit, whereas later production units use a sight with a detachable mounting, such as the 1P81 day sight.
