Hot weather expected until Monday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will be affected by a relatively hot air mass on Saturday that will push temperatures 6-7 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be relatively hot in most regions and hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Winds will be north westerly moderate raising dust in the desert areas.

In the evening, fair conditions will prevail in most regions, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the JMD added. A further rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday and Monday creating hot conditions across the Kingdom with some high clouds and south easterly moderate winds.

Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 34 degrees Celsius and a low of 24 degrees, while in the Gulf of Aqaba they will reach a high of 41 degrees Celsius and a low of 27 degrees.
