Heat wave to hit Kingdome this week

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A heat wave is expected to hit the Kingdom over the coming few days, sending mercury levels above seasonal average by 7 degrees Celsius, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Hot and dry weather conditions are expected to prevail across the Kingdome, while it will be very hot in the Jordan valley and the Gulf of Aqaba, the JMD added. Winds will be southeasterly changing to northwesterly.

Maximum temperatures in Amman for the coming few days will reach 31 degrees Celsius, dropping to 20 at night.
