Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday sent a cable of congratulation to Tunisian President-elect Beji Caid Essebsi, who won Tunisia's first free presidential elections.

The King emphasised Jordan's interest in further boosting ties with Tunisia at all levels "to achieve the common interests of the two countries", stressing his keenness to continue consultation on current issues, thus contributing towards activating Arab cooperation in order to overcome the obstacles faced by the Arab and Islamic nation.
