Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The weather will be fair Thursday in the hilly areas and moderate in the other parts of the Kingdom during the day hours with high clouds According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, cold weather is expected at night in most regions while it will be fair in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with southeasterly moderate winds.

On Friday, partly cloudy weather is expected, especially in the northern and central areas of the country. The JMD said the Kingdom will be affected in the afternoon, by a depression accompanied by a cold air mass centered over the island of Cyprus; therefore it will be cloudy with rainfall in the northern and central regions, gradually extending to the southern areas.

Heavy rain is expected during the night accompanied by thunder at times while winds will be southwesterly to westerly moderate to brisk.

A tangible in temperatures is forecast on Saturday; therefore, it will be relatively cold to cold and cloudy with heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder while winds will be westerly to northwesterly brisk , blowing dust at times in the desert areas.

Temperatures in Amman for today will reach a high of 23 degrees dropping down to 11.
