The two ministers highlighted the importance of the meeting, stressing that there is no alternative to a political solution to the crisis in Syria . Judeh reiterated Jordan ’s stance under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II which calls for a political solution in Syria that guarantees the country’s security and territorial integrity. Talks during the meeting also dealt with the peace process as well as the need to revive peace negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis.
