The King inspected the most important modernization effort and new equipment made available to the unit which is used to handle explosives. The modernization was in keeping with the developments globally in this field. His Majesty also attended a practical demonstration of the procedures followed after receiving information about any suspicious explosives, ways to deal with such a situation and defuse such explosives by employing modern technologies and equipment. The King expressed his pride in the professionalism shown by the participants in applying new gadgetry and techniques, and bringing about such improvement in the unit.

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) – His Majesty King Abdullah II inaugurated on Monday the new premises of the Explosives Unit which is part of the Special Branch in the Public Security Directorate.
