The PSD had received information that the smugglers were hiding the drugs in the central Jordan Valley. Acting on the tip, they detained four suspects involved in the smuggling attempt while they were trying to dig out the drugs. The detainees were referred to the State Security Court.

Ammon News - AMMAN (JT) — Anti Narcotics Department personnel recently seized 31 kilogrammes of heroin that was going to be smuggled to a neighbouring country, the Public Security Department (PSD) media centre said in a statement on Monday.

The PSD had received information that the smugglers were hiding the drugs in the central Jordan Valley.

Acting on the tip, they detained four suspects involved in the smuggling attempt while they were trying to dig out the drugs.

The detainees were referred to the State Security Court.
