Ammon News - Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan issued Directive No. (1) for the implementation of the General Budget Law for the fiscal year 2026.

The Prime Minister's directive aims to ensure the implementation of the General Budget Law in a way that achieves national goals and priorities, implements the second phase of the economic modernization vision and the public sector development plan, enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of public spending, strengthens public finance oversight processes and procedures, and reduces any violations or irregularities that may occur during the implementation of the general budget.

The Prime Minister's directive also aims to monitor the performance evaluation of government departments and units through periodic reports issued by the government in this regard.

Minister of Finance Abdul Hakim Shibli issued the financial order for the fiscal year 2026 to ministries, departments, and government units.
