Ammon News - Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Mohammad Khalayleh, announced the Hajj arrangements for the current season on Tuesday, noting that the minimum cost of Hajj this season is JD3,140 Jordanian, reaching up to JD8,000, depending on the pilgrim's choice.
During a press conference held at the Islamic Cultural Center – King Abdullah I Mosque, the Minister stated that Jordan's quota for this Hajj season is 8,000 pilgrims, in addition to 4,500 pilgrims from the 1948 Arab territories.
He indicated that the Ministry charges only JD80 per pilgrim for administrative services.
Approximately 28,000 citizens have registered on the Hajj platform, Khalayleh added.
