Ammon News - Minister of Justice Bassam Talhouni on Tuesday held talks with Canadian Ambassador Louis-Martin Aumais on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the legal and judicial fields.
During the meeting at the Ministry of Justice, Talhouni underscored the depth of Jordanian-Canadian relations, commending the current level of cooperation and stressing the importance of further developing it in a manner that serves mutual interests, particularly through the exchange of legal and judicial expertise.
Both sides reviewed areas of joint coordination and the multilateral international agreements linking Jordan and Canada, emphasizing the need to enhance legal and judicial cooperation and activate joint programs to advance the justice system.
For his part, Aumais expressed appreciation for the level of cooperation between Jordan and Canada, voicing hope for sustained coordination and consultation across various sectors to open broader prospects for future collaboration in areas of shared interest.
