Ammon News - Minister of Local Administration Walid Masri announced on Monday the forming of a committee to look into the incidents that occurred in Karak during the recent storm, which brought heavy rainfall.

Speaking during a parliamentary session, Masri said the committee will examine the causes of the flooding and determine accountability in cases where negligence is found.

The Minister also announced the formation of a technical committee to map the coordinates and courses of valleys throughout the Kingdom, as well as to identify and remove any encroachments on these valleys, ensuring their preservation, as water naturally flows, according to the minister.
