Ammon News - The first convoy of Jordanian pilgrims will depart for the Holy Land on May 23, according to a comprehensive plan developed by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to ensure the best possible services for pilgrims from their departure until their return.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced on Sunday that more than half a million pilgrims have arrived so far to perform 2025's Hajj.
Saudi authorities have confirmed that Hajj rituals will only be performed with a permit for domestic pilgrims, or a Hajj visa for international pilgrims.
Anyone caught attempting to perform Hajj without a permit will be subject to a fine of up to 20,000 riyals (JD3,783).
