Ammon News - Jordan on Sunday will host a meeting of Syria's neighboring countries to discuss practical mechanisms for cooperation in combating terrorism, drug and arms smuggling, and confronting other common challenges.
Ambassador Sufyan Qudah, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, said in a previous press statement that the meeting will discuss ways to support the Syrian people in their efforts to rebuild their country on the foundations that guarantee its unity, sovereignty, security and stability, rid it of terrorism, ensure conditions for the voluntary return of refugees, and preserve the rights of all its people.
Foreign ministers, defense ministers, chiefs of staff, and directors of intelligence agencies in Jordan, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon will participate in the meeting, Qudah said.
