The call also covered regional developments, with His Majesty warning of the dangers of escalation in the West Bank and highlighting the pivotal role of the United States in supporting efforts to achieve peace on the basis of the two-state solution.

The King stressed the need to rebuild Gaza without displacing its residents, calling for maintaining the ceasefire and the flow of aid to the Strip.
