Ammon News - Chicago Ridge police have charged a 27-year-old Jordanian man with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his 59-year-old father in Chicago.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the father died early Monday morning in what police described as an "isolated incident of domestic violence."

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office stated that the victim died from severe head, neck, and chest injuries caused by blunt force trauma.

Police reported that they responded to a call about an unconscious person at 4:30 a.m. Monday, and upon arrival, emergency responders found the victim deceased at the scene.
