Ammon News - Government sources confirmed to Ammon that the government will send the draft general pardon law to the Lower House on Thursday, to take the procedures for approving it.
The government's draft general pardon law is ready, as it worked on drafting and preparing it during the last period in great secrecy, as well as editing and preparing it, so that it can be sent to the House as quickly as possible, according to Ammon's sources.
The government will push the law through its constitutional stages and be approved by the legislative authority quickly, so that work can be done to implement it.
Head of the legal committee in the Lower House MP Ghazi Thunaibat, suggested that the procedures for the draft general pardon law would be completed and issued before Eid al-Fitr.
After the draft law is approved by the Lower House, it is submitted to the Senate, and after its approval by the Senate, the law is approved by the Royal Decree and becomes effective, Thunaibat added.
