Ammon News - Hebrew media said on Monday that Jordan asked the Israeli occupation to extend the agreement to increase water supplies for an additional year, which is supposed to expire next May.
The official broadcaster in the Israeli occupation, Kan, stated that consultations have been taking place in Israel in recent days regarding the request, and it has not yet been answered.
The occupation conveyed a message to Jordan that included a number of requests in exchange for extending the agreement to increase water supplies, namely: reducing the severity of the statements of Jordanian officials, including ministers and parliamentarians, against the occupation, and reducing incitement against the occupation in Jordan, Kan reported.
It also pointed out that the occupation conveyed a message regarding the importance of restoring relations to their normal form, including the return of ambassadors to Amman and Tel Aviv.
