Private sector excluded from Ramadan working hours, Ministry says

Ammon News - The Ministry of Labor announced that the Prime Minister’s statement, which he issued on Sunday, March 3, 2024, specifying the working hours of workers in all ministries, official departments, institutions, public bodies, public universities, municipalities, joint services councils, and the Greater Amman Municipality, Government-owned companies during the holy month of Ramadan do not include the private sector.

Organizing and determining the working hours of workers in the private sector during the holy month of Ramadan is left to the private sector and according to the internal regulations of each establishment, the Ministry stated.
