JFDA closes dairy factory in Amman, destroys 17.5 tons of adulterated goods

Ammon News - The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) monitoring and inspection teams, closed a dairy factory in Amman, and destroyed a quantity of adulterated dairy products, estimated at about 17 and a half tons, over the past hours of dawn.

In a statement, JFDA's Director-General Nizar Mheidat, said that the adulterated dairy products that were sized within a proactive and quality control process were manufactured from fatty production inputs that are not permitted for use.

The JFDA's monitoring and inspection teams, in cooperation with the Royal Department for Environmental Protection and the relevant security center, raided the aforementioned factory as part of the administration’s ongoing monitoring tours of food establishments.
