Ammon News - Two individuals sustained gunshot injuries, while a third person was injured after falling inside a factory in Aqaba Governorate on Monday, after a person opened fire after being fired from work, according to a security source.

The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that a report was received by the Aqaba Governorate Police Directorate on Monday morning that a person had fired bullets randomly inside a factory after he had been fired from work at the factory some time ago.

He fled the scene and a search is underway for him.

The incident resulted in two foreign nationals being injured by gunfire and were taken to the hospital where they are being treated, while a Jordanian employee was also taken to the hospital after falling and the investigation is still ongoing, the spokesperson added.
