UN Security Council holds meeting on Palestine on Tuesday

The United Nations Security Council will hold on Tuesday its monthly open session to discuss the situation in the Middle East, especially the war on the Gaza Strip, at a ministerial level.

The meeting will be chaired by French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Stéphane Séjourné, and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, will brief the Council members on the situation in Palestine, especially in Gaza.

The foreign ministers of some major countries are scheduled to participate in the session, including the Russian Federation.
